Ideal Pallet System began operating in 1965. Over the past 45 years we have continually served Southern California wooden pallets, crates, and skids needs. Ideal Pallet is a family owned business with generations of employees. We are family.

Dad, Mel Mermelstein, founded the company after he made his way from the East Coast to sunny California with his wife. Over the first several years of operation, the company grew and so did Mel’s family. Mel has three sons and a daughter, who have all participated in building the family business.

Mel had a belief that quality goods should be shipped and stored on quality pallets, crates, and skids. In order to build quality products, it takes a quality crew. Our General Manager, Mark Flippin started with the company in 1968. Mark, following in his father’s footsteps (who was one of the original crew members) worked his way through every position and knows pallet manufacturing from his 43 years of hands on experience. The Gaytan family spans three generations with Ideal Pallet. Loyalty, respect, family and dedications are the cornerstones of Ideal Pallet.

From Jane Smith, our first secretary in 1965, to Stacie Smith, our office manager since 2005, we are here to be of service and get you the pallets to suit your needs.
